DHRR - Dissolved Hydrocarbons Removing Reactor

There are many possible applications for WyunaSep Separator at airport facilities.
All airports have fuel storage facilities for jet fuel, some small and others very large. The storage tanks and their accompanying pumps, filters, and piping are usually contained in a dike or berm for safety reasons in case of a spill or fire. Rainwater that falls within the diked area will become contaminated with leaks from the tanks, from valves or flanges or perhaps from changing the fuel filter cartridges and must be treated if discharged to surface waters to meet the requirement of the local Clean Water Act. Separators for this application require careful design to manage possible spills (with the usual accompanying fire-hose washdown of the area) as well as the normal flow of storm water.
WyunaSep has experience in this type design and can offer both equipment and design suggestions for safe effective treatment of the water from fuel farms.
Similar design conditions exist for fueling aprons as apply to fuel farms, but the possible spills are usually much less in volume.
Most airports have vehicle maintenance facilities for ramp vehicles, fire equipment, and other vehicles needed for the operation of the airport. Many also have rental car maintenance facilities as well. WyunaSep systems can be used to remove oil from water resulting from these operations either for discharge to surface water or (more common) as pretreatment before discharge to municipal sewer systems.
Wyuna Sep – FuelF3-Pneumatic, FuelF3S, FuelF 10 & 10S, FuelF25 – Pneumatic systems available till 10m3/hr Capacity.
Oil in water discharges from industrial and other facilities are governed by a variety of central, federal, state and local laws. WyunaSep equipment can be very helpful in storm water quality mitigation. Permits for discharge are required and any discharges other than those allowed by permit are illegal.
Most states and localities require discharges to contain 20 ppm or less oil and grease, based on a 24 hours composite sample. Oil and grease may include petroleum hydrocarbons as well as animal and vegetable oils. WyunaSep equipment may also be used to remove oil for processing rainwater for rainwater harvesting.
WyunaSep Hydrocyclone separation systems can be installed near collection pits to process storm water from industrial and commercial facilities.
WyunaSep storm water systems are guaranteed to produce effluent that will meet the requirements for discharge for either 15 mg/l or 20 mg/l effluent quality as required.
WyunaSep storm water processing systems are superior to storm water filter systems because storm water filtration systems are very subject to plugging with solid particles within the water flow and filtration systems require frequent filter cartridge changes. The smart skimmer & in line strainer WyunaSep is substantially less likely to plug and is a permanent solution for such sites.
Many commercial facilities such as truck depots and large service stations require storm water pollution prevention equipment. WyunaSep systems installed are often the most economical and reliable methods of controlling oil in storm water.
